The town Santa Catarina Minas is 50 minutes from the city of Oaxaca, and is the benchmark for this category of Mezcal. Maestro Eduardo waits for us there in his Palenque which focuses on the important job of creating sustainable mezcal by using natural fertilizers and assuring production of his agaves are done through seeds and bulbs.

Master Mezcaleros Tour
The East Valley is the driest but most ideal place for planting Agave and making Mezcal.
We will visit 3 Palenques (distilleries) to try the different mezcals from 3 different Master mezcal makers. You will learn the entire production process and obviously you will taste the different types of Mezcal created by each.
